Core Theory Subjects
Child Psychology & Development: Covers the stages of physical, emotional, and social development, as well as the learning behaviors of preschool children. Early Childhood Education (ECE) Principles: Focuses on the history and philosophy of pre-primary education, including the works of educational pioneers like Friedrich Froebel and Maria Montessori.

Teaching Methodologies: Instruction on various teaching styles such as the Play-Way methodKindergarten method, and the Montessori method .

Child Health & Nutrition: Basics of child care, hygiene, balanced diets, common childhood diseases, and first aid .

School Organization & Management: Fundamentals of managing a nursery classroom, maintaining discipline, time management, and parent-teacher communication.

Language & Communication: Development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in young learners, often specifically for English or Hindi 

Practical Training & Assignments

  • Arts & Crafts: Techniques like finger painting, spray painting, origami, and clay modeling to develop fine motor skills .
  • Teaching Aids Preparation: Creating flashcards, puppets, flannel boards, and pictorial charts to enhance classroom learning .
  • Rhymes & Storytelling: Training in narrating stories and performing poems with action and music .
  • Lesson Planning: Learning how to design daily and weekly plans for subjects like English, Hindi, and Math .
  • Internship/Teaching Practice: A mandatory one-month school internship where students practice macro and micro-teaching in real classrooms.
